Bespoke replacement to the highest standard
Complete sash window renewal in West London
Bespoke hardwood box frames and sashes made for the opening when renewal is the better long-term investment.

When this service fits
A proportionate answer to the condition of the joinery.
Complete renewal replaces the box frame and sashes as one made-to-measure system. It is the right route when decay is extensive, an earlier replacement has lost the original proportions, or the project calls for the best achievable finish, operation and glazing specification. We still assess repair first; renewal is recommended when it produces the stronger result.

Questions about complete renewal
The details worth understanding first.
Do you use hardwood?
The current Stile specification for new windows and doors is hardwood. The exact timber, glazing, ironmongery and finish are confirmed in the quotation.
What if my property is listed?
Listed buildings and some conservation-area properties can require consent for changes. We can discuss the joinery specification, but the property owner should confirm the permissions that apply before work is ordered.

Double-glazed retrofit
If the original box frame remains sound, complete window replacement may not be necessary. New made-to-measure hardwood sashes with slim double glazing can often be fitted into the existing frame, improving performance while retaining more of the original joinery.
